Terms of service

Alvar is operated by T4S Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using Alvar you agree to these terms. If you use Alvar for a company, you accept them for that company. If you do not agree, do not use Alvar.

You ask a product question. Alvar shows a research plan: the sources it will read, what each costs, and the most the research can cost. Nothing runs until you approve the plan.

Alvar then reads public sources and answers with evidence. Your work is kept in projects, each with a Product Plan and a History.

Access is by invitation. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email; there is no password.

You are responsible for your email account and for any agent key you create in a project. You must be at least 13 years old to use Alvar.

You agree not to:

• Use Alvar for an illegal purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute Alvar.
• Scrape or abuse Alvar by automated means.
• Share your sign-in link or an agent key with people outside your project.
• Pretend to be another person or organisation.
• Publish Alvar output as fake reviews, testimonials or other false claims.

What you create in Alvar is yours: your questions, Product Plans and answers.

Alvar itself, its features and its design belong to Alvar and are protected by intellectual property law.

A paid research runs only after you approve its plan and its maximum cost. Alvar holds that amount before the research starts and returns the part it does not spend.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for your order. The provider is named at checkout and on your receipt. It takes the payment, issues the invoice and receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT where they apply. Its terms of sale apply to your purchase in addition to these terms. We never see or store your full card details.

Research credit is a one-time purchase added to your balance. It does not expire while your account is active. Alvar has no automatic renewal: you are charged only when you buy.

Research credit can be refunded within 14 days of purchase for the part you have not spent. A package can be refunded in full within 14 days if its research has not started. Otherwise payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

To ask for a refund, write to hello@alvar.cc from the email you used at checkout. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are paid by our payment provider to the original payment method.

Alvar uses an AI model to read the collected evidence and write the answer. The answer names its sources so you can check them.

Review an answer before you act on it. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or suitable for your decision.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALVAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

We may change these terms. When a change matters, we tell you by email. If you keep using Alvar after that, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
